Japan’s Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant continues to have accidents. The Tokyo Electric Power Company, the administrator, recently announced that 24 out of 25 filters in the "Multi-Nuclide Removal Equipment" (ALPS) used to filter nuclear sewage have been damaged.

In fact, Tepco had discovered the damage problem two years ago, but did not analyze the cause and propose countermeasures, and continued to use it only if it was replaced with a new one.

Agence France-Presse pointed out that the filter is used to prevent radioactive particles from spilling into the air when ALPS is working.

TEPCO stated that there was no increase in the amount of nuclear radiation around the building where ALPS is located, but it cannot deny that radioactive particles may leak into the building of the nuclear power plant.

Japanese media believe that the leak may have occurred for several months, and the radioactive material may have entered the sea through the river.
