“Speaking frankly, now we are faced with a problem due to the fact that we have not invested enough in strengthening the border,” said Kuleba.

According to him, the Ukrainian border "is absolutely vulnerable for groups of saboteurs, as well as for migrants, whom President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko may decide to send to us."

The minister also added that Kiev ceases to believe the promises of the West and considers the difficulties on the way to Ukraine's accession to the EU and NATO as a consequence of the EU's fears about Moscow's reaction to such a development of events.

At the same time, Kuleba clarified that Kiev is counting on the support of the United States, since President Biden "is still personally interested in the future of Ukraine."

Earlier, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during the YES Brainstorming forum said that the Ukrainian delegation during a visit to Washington did not receive a direct response from the United States regarding joining NATO.
