It is noted that the lawyer of the Russian in the courtroom appealed against this decision.
The appeal will be considered by the highest Czech court in 14 days.
According to the agency, Franchetti was transferred to the Pankrac prison in Prague.
Earlier, Russia sent a request to the Czech Republic in connection with the detention of Franchetti.
It was also reported that Franchetti was a participant in the events of the "Crimean Spring" when the peninsula returned to Russia.
Crimea became a Russian region after a referendum in March 2014, in which a majority of residents voted in favor of reunification with Russia.
