President Farmajo on Monday appointed a commission of inquiry made up of magistrates into the disappearance of the young Ikran Tahlil, with a member chosen by the Nisa.

However, beforehand his Prime Minister had entrusted this investigation to the military justice, therefore out of reach of the Nisa, an initiative which, it, received the support of the family of the victim.

So the showdown between the two men continues, despite their tête-à-tête on Saturday.

The only progress obtained, according to a Somali journalist: Farmajo and Mohamed Hussein Roble have established a liaison committee between their two offices and "

keep a line of communication open

".

According to the same source, faced with the confusion, all those who can serve as mediators are asked to intervene.

Last Saturday, it was two regional governors, allies of Farmajo, who tried to reconcile the points of view.

And a financial settlement, called "

blood debt

", would have even been proposed to the family of Ikran Tahlil.

But the victim's father spoke in public for the first time on Saturday.

He launched to the intelligence services he suspects of the crime: "

Give us back her body or produce her alive."
