In a case where a Japanese woman was murdered in Brazil last year, a local court said that a 19-year-old Brazilian man was accused of murder-robbery and other charges for murdering a woman and robbing her belongings. He sentenced him to 23 years in prison.

In November last year in Goias, in the Midwestern part of Brazil, Hitomi Akamatsu (43 at the time) was found murdered in the mountains, and Hafael Dakosta (19) was accused of murder-robbery and hiding his body. I was murdered.



On the 10th, a court in Goias sentenced the defendant to 23 years in prison for murdering Mr. Akamatsu for money to buy drugs, robbing his belongings and hiding his body near the scene.



Defendant admitted a monetary attack in court, but claimed that the woman was faint but not dead at the time, and local media reported that she would appeal.



According to local police, Mr. Akamatsu has been living there since 2018.
