In the night from Saturday to Sunday, a young man aged 21 would have tried to sell cocaine on the banks of the Loire in Orléans (Loiret).

His last client was a serving member of the Anti-Crime Squad.

This one was not wearing the uniform because he was "in search of delinquency", reports

La République du Center

.

In order not to frighten the young salesman, the sergeant would have accepted his proposal.

An appointment was then made a little later in the evening to proceed with the exchange.

The young Loirétain in confidence would have even offered the supposed customer a 10% reduction if he became his sole supplier, indicates the local daily.

Summoned to justice

The suspect was arrested by the sergeant and his colleagues just after the sale.

Searches of the young man's home and vehicle did not yield anything.

During his police custody, he allegedly explained that he had bought 10 grams and then resold them.

He allegedly offered the policeman 2.8 grams of cocaine for 300 euros.

He was released on Sunday.

He will soon be summoned to court.
