The lawsuit from Falu District Court states that the 60-year-old is said to have cut another man in the neck twice and stabbed him in the arm.
The 60-year-old is also said to have hit the man's head and body with a steel bucket and shovel.
A similar assault with a bucket and shovel must also have been committed against a woman.
Threatened children with axes
It also appears in the lawsuit that the 60-year-old threatened several children by holding an ax in each hand, raising them in the air and walking towards them.
The crime is considered serious because it was committed against children.
The man was arrested and detained in connection with the incident. And has since been in custody. He is now charged with attempted murder, assault and aggravated unlawful threats.
