Daejang-dong area in Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do is also called 'Nampangyo' because it is close to Pangyo New Town. When Gyeonggi Governor Lee Jae-myung was the mayor of Seongnam, the project to develop Daejang-dong began here. The project cost was 1.15 trillion won, and Seongnam Urban Development Corporation and private companies invested in the project, and some apartments have already moved in.

However, over the fact that a company with a 1% stake in the project operator made a net profit of 100 billion won last year, some media and opposition parties have raised suspicions that there is no preferential treatment related to Governor Lee Jae-myung.

First of all, this is reporter Lee Hyun-young.

Jangjang District, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do. Some apartments have already been moved in, but construction is in full swing.

In 2015, three consortiums applied for the 'Daejang-dong Development' developer contest, and the KEB Hana Bank consortium was selected.

Afterwards, Seongnam Urban Development Corporation established a special purpose corporation called 'Seongnam Garden,' in which 50% of the shares plus one share, and the private consortium, etc., had 50% minus one share.

However, 1% of the stake in the developer is owned by an asset management company called 'Hwacheon Daeyu'.

Last year's net income was 170 billion won. The dividend for the past two years has been KRW 90.9 billion.

Seongnam Urban Development Corporation, which owns half of the 'Seongnam Garden', received 183 billion won in dividends over three years."It was pointed out that the purpose of public redemption of development profits has faded."

Who is the major shareholder of 'Hwacheon Daeyu'? Mr. Kim, who worked as a deputy director at a media company, owns 100% of the shares.

In July 2014, six months before the company was founded, a media company reported that Kim had written an article by interviewing Seongnam Mayor Lee Jae-myung at the time.

In a phone call with a SBS reporter, Kim claimed, "I have no acquaintance with this branch, and rather, Seongnam City took back a significant portion of the development profits at the time."

In the midst of this, former Special Prosecutor Park Young-soo, who investigated the allegation of state non-government, became a permanent adviser to 'Hwacheon Daeyu' in 2016.

In response, former special prosecutor Park explained, "I was listed as a legal advisor at the request of Mr. Kim, but I resigned after being appointed to the special prosecutor, and my daughter got a job in recognition of her professionalism."
