In Russia, 46 million people have already been vaccinated against coronavirus infection.

The head of the Ministry of Health Mikhail Murashko told about this in an interview with the Russia 24 TV channel.

The minister noted that the country has formed a sufficient supply of vaccine against coronavirus - for about a month in each region of the country.

"Today, 723 thousand Russian citizens suffering from a new coronavirus infection are still under the supervision of medical workers," TASS quotes him.

He also said that the Russian health care system is ready to provide medical care, although it remains under heavy pressure.

“First of all, our task is to interrupt this epidemic process.

The most important and sure way is to vaccinate the population, ”the minister emphasized.

Murashko added that it is necessary to ensure the epidemic safety of citizens before the onset of winter cold weather.

"Vaccination today shows effectiveness in the prevention of the disease, in rare cases, if a person even encounters an infection, then the disease proceeds without serious complications," he said.

The head of the Ministry of Health said that there are almost 12 thousand vaccination points in the country, taking into account field teams.

In addition, he said that the issue of mutual recognition of vaccination certificates against COVID-19 is being discussed with San Marino.

“Both the Russian side and the side of the Republic of San Marino are interested in this,” said Murashko.

At the same time, the Research Center of Virology and Biotechnology "Vector" of Rospotrebnadzor said that about 1 million Russian citizens received both doses of the drug from the EpiVacCorona coronavirus.

“Currently in Russia, about 1 million citizens have completed a full course of vaccination with this drug,” the center noted.

They recalled that the EpiVacCorona vaccine is easily tolerated and safe to use.

Meanwhile, the medical journal Lancet published material, the authors of which urge to refrain from mass revaccination of the population until studies that would confirm the feasibility of such a step.

It should be noted that revaccination also means the so-called booster doses - additional administration of one of the components of a drug after completing a full course of vaccination.

At the same time, the article indicates that revaccination may ultimately be needed if the immunity obtained as a result of the primary vaccination is weakened, or if the immune response is ineffective against new variants of the coronavirus.

In turn, the chief doctor of the hospital in Kommunarka, Denis Protsenko, during a meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin with the government and the leadership of United Russia, raised the issue of creating a state program for the rehabilitation of citizens who have suffered any serious illnesses, including COVID-19.

"The period of the pandemic really reminded us of the relevance of such a clinical direction of modern medicine as rehabilitation, because coronavirus infection causes complications globally for the entire human body, leading to an exacerbation of chronic diseases," he said.

Protsenko stressed that in order to achieve the desired effect from rehabilitation, it is necessary to purchase modern equipment.

However, the rush depends on it only by 30%, since the training of multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams plays a huge role.

Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova at the meeting said that since July 1, about 212 thousand people have undergone in-depth medical examination in Russia.

According to her, of these, 84% of citizens have had coronavirus and have two or more chronic diseases, and 58.2% of citizens are subject to dispensary observation.

Meanwhile, the authorities of the Russian regions continue to weaken or extend the restrictions imposed due to the pandemic, based on the epidemiological situation.

So, in Sevastopol, against the background of a decrease in the incidence of COVID-19, restrictions on the work of catering establishments were lifted from 23:00 to 08:00.

In addition, cinemas were allowed to provide food trading services.

At the same time, Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev recalled that the region has a recommendation for 100% vaccination of all catering staff.

In addition, the authorities of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug (NAO) have lifted restrictions on the opening hours of cafes, bars and restaurants in the region - they were previously closed from midnight to 8 am.

Children's playrooms were also resumed in the NAO.

In turn, the general director of the Bolshoi Theater, Vladimir Urin, spoke about the requirements for viewers in the context of a pandemic in the capital.

“Given the requirements that exist today for attending any theatrical and entertainment events, we have a choice: either we switch to QR codes that people must present, and then we can fill the hall completely, or, as now, we will fill the hall with restrictions - by 50% ", - quoted by" Rossiyskaya Gazeta ".

As the director general of the State Academic Bolshoi Theater noted, the theater has so far chosen the second path.

He added that masks remain a mandatory requirement.

“This is the only restriction we have for the public. Of course, we sell tickets taking into account the required distance, ”he explained.
