She said that due to the detention at the Prague airport on the basis of an international order from Interpol issued by Ukraine, Russian citizen Alexander Franchetti was demanded during a conversation with the Czech Ambassador to Moscow Vitezslav Pivonka to provide detailed information regarding the motives of the actions of the Czech authorities and the offenses incriminated to the Russian citizen.

"The ambassador was warned that the continuation of the destructive line of Prague towards Russia and its citizens will lead to further degradation on the initiative of the Czech side of bilateral relations and will not remain without a reaction from our side," the message says.

It is noted that "the Russian Embassy in the Czech Republic has sent a note to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic."

“We expect from the Czech side a prompt reaction to our appeals and answers to the questions raised,” added the representative of the Foreign Ministry.

Earlier it was reported that a Czech lawyer was assigned to a Russian citizen, Alexander Franchetti, detained in Prague.
