According to the UK, on September 9, the police received a statement about the unknown disappearance of a 20-year-old girl.
During the search activities on September 12, her body with signs of a violent death was found in a field near the village of Ozernoye, Novokhopersky District, Voronezh Region.
"After a short time, residents of the Borisoglebsk district aged 20 and 23, as well as a 26-year-old native of the Volgograd region, were detained on suspicion of committing this crime," the statement said.
It was preliminarily established that the suspects, having information about the presence of a large amount of money on their friend's bank card, decided to commit the murder of the latter in order to take possession of the money.
To do this, the suspects fraudulently brought a 20-year-old girl to the Novokhopersk district, where they killed her and hid her body in a field, having previously stolen the victim's bank card and mobile phone.
A criminal case was opened on the fact of the crime.
"Investigators of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee conducted an inspection of the scene, appointed a set of necessary forensic examinations," the department noted.
