China News Service, September 13th, Taiwan Affairs Office spokesperson Zhu Fenglian said in response to reporters on the 13th that Taiwan is a part of China and resolutely opposes any form of official relations or mutual establishment of official relations between China’s Taiwan region and countries that have diplomatic ties with China.

A reporter asked a question and said that some media reported that the United States is considering allowing the DPP authorities to promote the name change of institutions in the United States.

Any comment on this?

Zhu Fenglian said that relevant departments of my country have already expressed their position and attitude on this.

Taiwan is a part of China, and we firmly oppose the development of any form of official relations or mutual establishment of official institutions between the Taiwan region of China and the countries that have established diplomatic relations with China.

No matter how the DPP authorities play tricks to promote "Taiwan independence," they are doomed to fail.
