It was at the end of July that the police received an alarm about a shooting at the beach in Notviken and on the spot a woman in her 25s was found shot to death.

The shooting took place near a well-attended exercise track with a large beach where many fish and swim late in the evenings.

- Many people no longer want to go out alone in the evening, says Robin Johansson who lives right next to where the woman was shot.

Shocked when he heard what had happened

Robin is often out resting his two dogs in the area but was staying indoors when he heard the police call and the sirens.

- The police come here quite often because it can be a bit messy here sometimes.

At first I thought it was some quarrel or abuse, so first you were shocked when you heard what happened, he says and continues:

- At the same time, I am not surprised that the shootings also spread to Luleå.
