According to him, four people, including the pilot, were killed.
Among the dead are residents of Irkutsk, Angarsk and Magistralny.
He expressed condolences to the families and friends of the victims.
“On Wednesday, September 15, a day of mourning will be announced in the Irkutsk region,” he said.
Earlier, the Emergencies Ministry reported that 12 people were injured and four people died as a result of a hard landing of an L-410 aircraft in the Irkutsk region.
The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case.
According to the regional government, three victims are in intensive care.
