A 23-year-old man was arrested on Friday by investigators from the judicial police in a seaside resort near Port-Leucate, in Aude.
He is suspected of having shot a young man in his twenties in the head.
His body was found on July 16, 2020 in Toulouse, in the parking lot of a private residence on Île du Ramier.
The victim had previously been severely beaten.
In this case, which investigators believe is linked to a settling of scores on the background of drug trafficking, two suspects have already been indicted, in particular thanks to the DNA traces discovered "on a bottle of water found near the corpse ”.
But the fugitive arrested Friday, and taken into custody, is suspected of being the shooter.
