As Cristiano Ronaldo returned to Manchester United after 12 years to play, a large banner appeared at the stadium protesting allegations of sexual assault.

According to the BBC, the feminist group 'Level Up', a feminist group supporting women who claim to have been sexually assaulted by Ronaldo, flew a light airplane over the stadium and spread a large banner stating that they believe in women who claim to have been sexually assaulted.

'Level Up' also tweeted, "We flew an airplane over the Manchester United soccer field. Our message is simple. 'Trust the victim, Kathryn Mayorga,'" and "In the football culture that is silent about abuse." Let's say no. Solidarity with Mayorga."

Ronaldo started the match and scored the opening goal and winning goal to lead Manchester United to a 4-1 victory.

Kathryn Mayorga, a model-turned-American woman, claimed that she was sexually assaulted in a hotel room by Ronaldo whom she met at a nightclub in Las Vegas in 2009.

Immediately after the report, Ronaldo's lawyers strongly opposed it, calling it 'fake news'.
