According to the newspaper, amendments to the legislation, which will expand the category of persons entitled to receive maternity capital, will begin to operate in 2022.
The article says that the bill will go to the Cabinet of Ministers on September 29, and it will be sent to the State Duma by the end of 2021.
It is also noted that the amount of 10.46 billion rubles is provided for these purposes in the budget for 2022.
Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Labor Anton Kotyakov said that in 2022 the amount of maternity capital for the first child in Russia will be more than 503 thousand rubles, and the payment for the second will exceed 665 thousand rubles.
