Here you are invited to a party for women's right to vote

It seems obvious today, but a hundred years ago women did not have the right to vote.

But in the 1910s and 20s, more than 3,000 women in Västerbotten County alone became involved in the issue and contributed to changing the situation for all.

On Sunday, this was celebrated with a party at Gammlia in Umeå.

Some had dressed typically for the time when it was up to struggle.
