Britain announced that it had abandoned obligating its citizens to show a health certificate proving that they had received a vaccine against the Corona virus, and while the Chinese authorities closed a city in the south of the country to stop the spread of the epidemic in it, Yemen recorded the second largest number of injuries and deaths since the beginning of the pandemic.

British Health Minister Sajid Javid announced today, Sunday, that the government has abandoned its plan to impose a health certificate to enter nightclubs and other crowded places in the country.

Javid attributed the decision to the success of the vaccination campaign against the Corona virus, but he did not rule out imposing a certificate of vaccination again if an increase in the number of HIV infections was recorded.

According to the Associated Press, members of Britain's ruling Conservative Party opposed the imposition of a certificate of vaccination, considering it a violation of the rights of citizens.

The British minister stated that Prime Minister Boris Johnson will this week set plans for the country's handling of the epidemic during the coming colder months, noting that the government may lift some restrictions while relying on vaccines.

Neighboring France is witnessing weekly demonstrations denouncing the government's decision to oblige citizens to show a health certificate, and France and other mandatory European countries apply the vaccination certificate in a different way.

In Europe, too, Italy recorded today more than 4,600 new injuries and 34 deaths, a decrease compared to the previous day's outcome.

As for Russia, for the second day, it recorded more than 18,000 injuries and about 800 additional deaths, amid a widespread outbreak of the “delta” mutator.
