The Minister of Education of the Community of Madrid, Enrique Ossorio, has criticized that the Government has eliminated the make-up exams for ESO in June or September, which "continues to destroy the quality of education."

"Now, it has decided to eliminate the extraordinary exams of June or September in ESO. After establishing

the general approval for all the students they

have had to think: why take exams?", Ossorio has asked himself through his Twitter account.

Thus, he has asked the Ministry of Education and FP to correct

"all the nonsense

of the draft Royal Decree of Evaluation, Promotion and Qualification".

The

Ministry of Education

has eliminated the recovery exams for

ESO

(from 12 to 16 years old) that the autonomous communities used to take in September and now

they mostly take at the end of June

.

These tests gave the student a second chance

if he had failed a subject

and they were a classic of the summers of the

EGB generation,

the

LOE

and the

Lomce

.

Now the criterion will be to take measures

before the bad grade occurs

and not take into account, in order to allow the student to pass the course, the number of pending subjects.

You can pass the course directly, without having to approve the extraordinary call, if so considered by

the professors in a collegiate way

.

In

Baccalaureate

, on the other hand, this recovery test will follow.

According to sources from the Ministry, this matter has been raised in several meetings within the working group that has been created with the autonomous communities.

The regional representatives have not seen it with bad eyes, these sources point out, although the concrete measure is still pending to be negotiated and approved in a

Sectorial Education Conference

According to the criteria of The Trust Project
