Morocco is awaiting the formation of the new government.
Mohammed VI entrusted this mission on Friday to Aziz, a powerful businessman, former Minister of Agriculture who is said to be close to the monarch, and boss of the RNI, the party that won the legislative elections on Wednesday.
Nicknamed the "dove party", the RNI or National Rally of Independents has beaten the pawn to the Islamists of the PJD, who had been in business for ten years.
The result of a campaign strategy carried out mainly on two fronts.

At the level of the big cities, generally very abstentionist in Morocco, the RNI went to the conquest of new voters: young people, women, by targeting a public which is usually not politicized.
And if in these metropolises,
the campaign seemed "sluggish"
, it is because it was played mainly on social networks.
It is there that the party of the dove defended its program, very readable, with five points and 25 measures, promising a minimum old age, the creation of a million jobs or the doubling of the budget of the public hospital.

The RNI also highlighted its action within the outgoing government in the anti-Covid response.
As early as March 2020, when the whole world was confined, support measures for Moroccans were announced by the Minister of the Economy, a member of the RNI.
And masks were manufactured locally at the instigation of the Minister of Industry.
Another aspect of the dove party's electoral strategy: small towns and villages, where the campaign was very active.
According to geographer David Goeury, like the PAM and Istiqlal, the RNI has invested in the rural world.
And by mobilizing more than 25,000 candidates in the municipal elections organized at the same time as the legislative elections on Wednesday, he was present in 80% of the constituencies of Moroccan territory.
