The Communist Party has argued that the government's reduction target for greenhouse gases is low compared to other developed countries, and that it should be raised to a high level by promoting conversion to renewable energy.

Regarding the reduction of greenhouse gases toward 2030, the government has set a target of 46% reduction compared to 2013 and will proceed with concrete efforts.

Regarding the government's goal, the Communist Party argues that it is lower than other developed countries, and that it is possible to raise the goal to a higher level by accelerating the conversion to renewable energy.

And since the UN agency has set the starting point for the estimation of future reductions in 2010, Japan will also review the target setting compared to 2010 and aim for a reduction of 50% to 60% toward 2030. Should be.

The Communist Party intends to incorporate this idea into the promise of the House of Representatives election.
