IAEA = Secretary-General Grossi, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, will visit Iran, which continues to enrich uranium after deviating from the nuclear agreement, and will meet with senior officials of the new Raishi administration on the 12th.

Opinions are expected to be exchanged over issues such as the Iranian side restricting IAEA inspections.

The IAEA announced on the 11th that Secretary-General Grossi will visit Iran and meet with the Secretary-General of the Atomic Energy Agency Eslami on the 12th.

Regarding Iran's nuclear development, the IAEA pointed out in a report compiled on September 7 that Iran is producing 10 kg of uranium with an enrichment of 60%, which deviates from the nuclear agreement, and Iran's cooperation. The IAEA's surveillance activities for nuclear facilities have been "significantly impaired."

It is the first time that the Secretary-General of Grossi has visited Iran since the inauguration of the new conservative hardliner Rafael Grossi in August. It seems that they will exchange opinions on such matters.

Regarding the issue of nuclear development, the indirect talks between Iran and the United States, which have been underway since April, to rebuild the nuclear agreement have been suspended due to a lack of agreement between the two parties.

Under such circumstances, attention is being paid to the extent to which the Iranian side will show the Secretary-General Grossi a stance of cooperation with the IAEA, such as cooperation in inspections.
