The investigation into the late Private Jeong Mo, a member of the Navy ship Gang Gam-chan, who made an extreme choice after reporting the abusive behavior, is expected to begin in earnest as key executives belonging to the Gang Gam-chan ship return to Korea.



The chief executives of the Cheonghae Unit, which were urgently dispatched to Africa in July for follow-up of the Corona 19 mass infection, returned to Korea after completing their mission today (11th) and returned to their units.



A navy official said, "We will promptly carry out additional investigations against the captain and others so that there is no suspicion of a single point and take strict measures."



Kim Hyung-nam, secretary general of the Military Human Rights Center, who first exposed this case, pointed out, "Currently, the investigation has not progressed to the extent of 'the statements are mixed'.



On June 18, three months after receiving the report of abusive behavior, the military authorities began investigating the matter only after Private Jeong made an extreme choice. So far, only one senior has been arrested.
