"We are up against the wall. On September 15, colleagues and I will be suspended without pay. The health system did not need that", despaired Corinne, nursing assistant for 30 years, from Franche-Comté. to demonstrate in the capital.

For the third time in a week, several hundred people took to the streets in Monaco on Saturday to protest against the government's health measures in the face of Covid-19, in a country unaccustomed to social movements, AFP noted.

Grouped behind a large banner soberly worded "No to the sanitary pass and the vaccination obligation", the demonstrators, between 450 and 500 according to the police, marched under the astonished eye of the inhabitants and tourists mocking, for some, a " luxury demo ".

Authorized by the public authorities, this noisy but very civilized demonstration respected the time allotted of one hour by the authorities.

All the participants wore a mask, imposed outdoors on anyone over the age of 5 throughout the Principality.

Thousands of demonstrators once again beat the pavement on Saturday in Vienna with cries of "Freedom" to denounce the health restrictions imposed by the Austrian government in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Several thousand health professionals demonstrated in Warsaw on Saturday to demand better wages and working conditions, criticizing the government for not having granted them compensation for the workload increased by the Covid-19.

Nurses, doctors and paramedics marched through central Warsaw, before respecting a minute of silence in front of the presidential palace in memory of the 500 caregivers who died during the pandemic.
