Christian Constant was the guest of Laurent Mariotte in the program La Table des bons vivants on Europe 1. For the occasion, the starred chef shared an anecdote about Yves Camdeborde with whom he worked in the kitchens of Crillon.

Scrambled eggs and frog legs

"There was Jean-Luc Petitrenaud who was doing a live broadcast and he calls me asking me to bring him a dish," explains Christian Constant.

"We did not even have ten minutes to make the dish, suddenly Eric Frechon launches into scrambled eggs and Yves takes care of the frogs' legs but he barely has time to make them come back that we have to leave. . "

A rush that cost the young chef dear since barely arrived, the dishes are shipped to the studio ...

"And there, it is the tragedy, I do not have time to say that the thighs are not completely cooked and suddenly the guests tasted an uncooked dish, see raw", remembers Yves Camdeborde with a laugh. "Fortunately, there is more fear than harm as the guests joined in and pretended nothing happened."
