And 61 thousand work in the classification from 60 to 64 years old, and 19 thousand work under the classification from 65 to 69 years old, in addition to 5000 workers and employees working under the age classification of 70 years and over.

Federal Law No. (8) of 1980, regulating labor relations, did not specify a specific age for ending the work relationship, while the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation set the fees for issuing an initial approval for a work permit, for those aged 65 years and over, 5,000 dirhams, for a period of two years.
