10 September 2021 The new Taliban government opens a debate on the future choices of the UN, committed to protecting the population without exposing itself too much to international recognition of the Taliban.

"I ask you not to recognize any government in Afghanistan unless it is truly inclusive and formed on the basis of the free will of the people", is the appeal of the Afghanistan envoy to the United Nations, Ghulam Isaczai, urging the UN Security Council not to recognize any government in Kabul unless it is "truly inclusive". According to Isaczai, the recent protests in Kabul would be a clear message "to the Taliban that the people will not accept a totalitarian system".

Positions that will have to converge, in the light of the statements by United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres in an interview with France Press: "Our duty is to extend our solidarity to a people who suffer enormously, where millions and millions of people risk starve. We must maintain a dialogue with the Taliban, in which we reaffirm our principles directly. "

While the airlift to prune foreigners out of Afghanistan continues, the rise of the Taliban in the Afghan provinces continues in an unpredictable situation. "The resistance is not over, but it has just begun." Thus the Panshir National Resistance Front on Twitter denounced "cruelty" committed by the Taliban in the Valley, with "murders and acts of revenge". The Taliban, he continues, "expelled thousands of people from the Valley". The new rulers of Afghanistan "continue the ethnic cleansing and the world is just watching and remains indifferent to this situation", continues the Resistance. Also for this reason, "the war is not over and the resistance will continue". "The people of our country grew up with aidea of development that the Taliban do not accept ", the men of Panshir continued, affirming that" we defend the rights of the population, of women, values and human rights ".

Pakistan denies aid to Panshir

Pakistan has denied having supported the Taliban offensive against Panshir, the Afghan province where the resistance is concentrated and which the Koranic students have declared "conquered". Foreign Ministry spokesman Asim Iftikhar "categorically rejected" the accusations, calling them "part of a malicious campaign" for which he pointed the finger at India. It is a "desperate attempt to defame Pakistan and mislead the international community", reads the statement signed by the spokesman, which instead reiterates Islamabad's commitment to a peaceful, stable and sovereign Afghanistan.

Closed the checking accounts of former officials

"The Taliban have closed the bank accounts belonging to former Kabul government officials", according to the Tolo news broadcaster, specifying that most of the officials affected by the measure left Afghanistan on 15 August. Confirming the news, Inamullah Samangai, a member of the Taliban Cultural Commission, however, did not disclose the names of the former officials whose accounts would be closed, while the Afghan Central Bank did not comment.
