The first fire started in a laundry room at 02.30.
The police suspect that someone lit a fire on a pile of clothes and a report of suspected damage to fire has been made.
Six cars damaged
About an hour and a half later, police and rescue services were alerted to the same area again, just two blocks from the second fire.
This time it burned in a garbage dump that was next to some kind of garage, according to the police.
The fire spread to the garage and at least six cars must have been damaged in the fire.
- It must have been first a car, then it seems to have gotten into some form of carport or garage where five cars were damaged.
I have no information on how far the injuries have gone, says Kenneth Johannesson, duty officer at the Bergslagen police region on Friday morning.
People in the area are worried
Police do not rule out a connection with the previous fire and state that people in the area are worried.
Police and rescue services work during the morning hours to create security.
There is currently no suspect in the fires.
- But we think it is possible to come a bit, we are still in place there in the area, says Johannesson.
