At the regional council in Kronoberg on Wednesday, several politicians raised their voices against unvaccinated staff who go to work and spread the coronavirus.

The chairman of the regional board, Mikael Johansson (M), says that he would like to draw up lists of unvaccinated care staff in order to try to convince them to get vaccinated.

But Anna Bexell, contract ombudsman at Kommunal Sydost, is questioning and believes that today there is no law that forces people to get vaccinated.

She also says that the individual today does not have to state whether he has been vaccinated or not, and therefore asks questions about how the region's politicians can know if the elderly have been infected by unvaccinated or vaccinated staff.

- We are protected according to the constitution, GDPR and our own privacy, it is up to us to tell if we are vaccinated or not.

There is no compulsion on it today.
