He "is

doing very well

" assure several members of the delegation who saw him this afternoon, who discussed with him at the headquarters of the special forces in Conakry. It was the

priority of this mission

: to ensure the health and living conditions of the deposed president arrested on Sunday. On leaving the ultra-secure CNRD camp overflown by a drone, Jean-Claude Kassi Brou, president of the ECOWAS commission, made a very brief statement

We had meetings with the National Recovery Committee, with the National Recovery Committee, headed of course by Colonel Mamady Doumbouya. We had very positive exchanges and we also had the opportunity to meet former President Alpha Condé, so we also spoke with him. We will report to the Heads of State on the results of our discussions.

 "

So on the future of Alpha Condé now, on a possible release, "

discussions have been initiated

", indicates the secretary general of the Guinean Ministry of Foreign Affairs who is acting as interim but "

the principle is established

" affirmed Fanta Cissé at the airport surrounded by military officials. She draws a "

very positive

 "

assessment

of these exchanges.

These meetings began at the end of the morning in a large hotel in Conakry.

Discussions first conducted on the CNRD side by the gendarmerie colonel Balla Samoura, joined a little later by Colonel Mamady Doumbouya at the head of the CNRD, accompanied by a procession of armored vehicles.

He was very open, very frank

" according to the Ghanaian Minister of Foreign Affairs, who concluded: "

we have come to make contact, it is done, and we will continue this dialogue.
