Ten men and two women were tried by the Rouen Criminal Court on Wednesday for drug trafficking, reports 76actu.

Between 2018 and 2019, the defendants imported and sold 15 kg of heroin and two kilos of cocaine in Seine-Maritime.

The Rouen prosecutor's office opened the investigation into this drug trafficking in 2018. The gendarme then went up to a man nicknamed "the millionaire" and already convicted of international drug trafficking and money laundering.

"The millionaire" released for lack of evidence

On September 16, 2019, the soldiers arrested a dozen people and seized "several tens of thousands of euros in small denominations, 15 kg of heroin, 28 kg of cutting products, 2 kg of cocaine".

The court found ten of the defendants guilty and sentenced them to terms ranging from eight months suspended to six years in prison.

"The millionaire", targeted by an arrest warrant coupled with a European arrest warrant "because of his probable flight to the Netherlands", was released for lack of evidence.
