The feat, never attempted before, was succeeded by three Venetian FIN Masters, Francesco Baldan, Riccardo Tigli and Marco Schilirò, who swam for 23 km in the waters of the Sardinian archipelago, completing the "Swim for Dolphins" initiative.

The sporting event, organized by SEA ME Sardinia Onlus, an association that studies and protects the cetaceans of our sea, was used to raise funds thanks to which SEA ME researchers will be able to equip themselves with a boat that will allow them to carry out the study and awareness raising activities at sea. The athletes, equipped with technical equipment kindly donated by Arena, were escorted by two assistance boats. To complete the procession, a group of 4 volunteer canoeists, a SUP and the means of the Port Authority and the Guardia di Finanza of La Maddalena.
