Last season was coming to an end with horror.

Brynäs men's team was about to fall out of the highest series in 60 years but managed in an extra time decision at home.

Things went better for the ladies who made it to the finals.

On Saturday, it is a restart for both teams in the SHL and SDHL respectively.

- It is clear that last season was tough, but we have gained experience, got a new coach and are hungry for revenge, says Brynäs team captain Anton Rödin.

SVT will broadcast from SDHL also this season, but at the opening meeting this week, Brynäs received the most gold tips.

The Gävle team lost the final this spring and now wants to take the next step.

- Brynäs has a three-year plan and we are in our third year now.

And the common goal is to go all the way, says Brynäs Josefin Bouveng.

Brynäs ladies start at home against Luleå and the men away against Frölunda, Saturday 11 September.
