Melania Trump is not keen on her husband's candidacy in 2024

Melania Trump does not intend to accompany her husband on a possible election campaign.

Say what you like about Melania Trump, a woman is consistent.

She showed no interest in being first lady in 2016 and doesn't seem to care much about being first lady again.

According to sources who recently spoke to CNN about Melania's thinking, she never wants to return to the White House.

And if her husband, former President Donald Trump, decides he wants to prove the losers wrong and run for president, in 2024, she won't be with him on the campaign trail.

Alternatively, sources reported that one of his sons' wives may get the honor of accompanying Trump on the campaign trail.

■■ Can Donald Trump really run for president again?

In an interview with Fox News last April, Trump said he was "100% thinking about running again."

In May, he told right-wing media outlet Candace Owens, "People will be very happy when I do a certain ad."

And just last week, Congressman Jim Jordan reportedly said that Trump "is ready to announce (his candidacy) after all the madness in Afghanistan."

■■ Suppose Trump is nominated again.

Can he win?

While I like to laugh at the idea, it's not impossible.

He could certainly win the Republican nomination, as a February poll showed that 54% of Republican voters would support Trump in the 2024 Republican presidential primary. Former Vice President Mike Pence came in second with only 12%. , of votes.

A recent Emerson poll found that, if the election were held, now, Trump would narrowly win over Biden, whose popularity has recently plummeted.

But anything could happen in the next few years.

At Trump's inauguration four years ago, sources reported that Melania had masterminded the "Ivanka ban", to ensure that the president's daughter did not capture the world's attention for her own benefit.

And if Melania is serious about not wanting to transition again to become first lady, then maybe it's time for a "Donald ban."
