“According to information posted in the media, a criminal case has been initiated on the poisoning of a family in the south-east of Moscow on the grounds of a crime under Art.
238 of the Criminal Code of Russia (provision of services that do not meet safety requirements, resulting in the death of a person by negligence), ”she said.
On September 9, the mother, grandmother and a 15-year-old girl were reportedly taken to the hospital with poisoning after eating a watermelon bought in a store on Sovkhoznaya Street.
According to media reports, an elderly woman and a girl have died.
“Currently, to obtain objective and reliable information, the investigators went to the hospital,” added Ivanova.
Earlier it was reported that in the Karelian Republican Hospital, the fifth out of eight residents of Belarus, who were poisoned by surrogate alcohol in Karelia, died.
