BelTA informs that the corresponding agreement is contained in a joint statement of the heads of government of the two countries.

“The Heads of Government note that the destructive actions of a number of Western states and structures that are contrary to international law prevent the positive development of the Union State, the strengthening of national economies, and the solution of vital social tasks for the citizens of Russia and Belarus.

In this regard, joint actions have been agreed in the context of the application of illegitimate economic sanctions against the two countries, ”the statement says.

Earlier, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Russia and Belarus Sergei Lavrov and Vladimir Makei discussed topical issues of the bilateral agenda and international security at the meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Union State in Minsk.
