September 10, 2021 Another step in the

Internet of Things

, the Internet integrated into devices for home use, which become interactive through voice and gestures.

Amazon introduced the

Fire TV Omni

series in the United States

, which integrates the Fire stick and voice technology into the smart TV.

The result is an all-in-one entertainment device for streaming, cable TV, music, games and more without the need to use the remote control.

The voice commands of Alexa allow, in fact, to activate the hands-free services with the TV on or off.

You can ask Alexa to tune in to your favorite program without having to remember which channel, streaming service or input device it is connected to and use your voice to control playback, subtitles, brightness, manage the volume of the TV or soundbar, change inputs and more. In addition, you can create routines for Alexa directly from the smart TV and even open

video conferences

on Zoom.

The smart TVs will be available in the United States and Canada starting in September, in sizes from 43 to 75 inches.

Amazon also presented the new Fire tv stick 4K Max, a streaming key with a 1.8GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of ram, which allows apps to start faster: it is the first multimedia player for streaming adapted to

the new standard.
