He was driving a concrete mixer truck when the accident took place this Thursday morning around 11 a.m.
A 30-year-old man was in serious condition at the start of the afternoon after being the victim of an electric arc, reports the Loire-Atlantique fire and rescue service.
The driver was working on a site in the town of Touvois, in the south of the department, when the telescopic arm of his vehicle came into contact with a medium voltage line.
In cardio-respiratory arrest, he was resuscitated thanks to the rapid intervention of the emergency services.
The man was then transported by helicopter to the Nantes University Hospital.
