Three police custody and a man on the run.
This Thursday morning, the day after the brawl between four men in Sens-de-Bretagne, north of Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine), we still know little about the reason for the altercation.
According to our information, the gendarmes were called by several witnesses to the scene which took place around 6.15 p.m. in the middle of the shops of this town of 2,500 inhabitants.
Shots rang out in the town.
For some reason not yet determined, a fight broke out between two groups of two individuals.
Shots injured two of the four protagonists.
While some sources mentioned a pellet rifle, it seems that it was rather an alarm pistol that was used.
"The shots appear to be shot at first analysis," said Rennes prosecutor Philippe Astruc.
The Kangoo intercepted by the gendarmes
After this fight, three individuals fled in a Renault Kangoo type car.
They were intercepted by the gendarmes while they were traveling near Gahard, in the direction of Saint-Aubin-d'Aubigné.
Two of the three men had gunshot wounds.
The three occupants were hospitalized and taken into police custody.
They were able to leave the hospital.
The man who suffered the most beatings received 45 days of ITT.
The fourth man, who fled alone, is still actively sought.
According to Ouest-France, several witnesses to the scene would have followed the vehicle of the fugitives by car, fearing that a tragedy would occur.
The investigation was entrusted to the research brigade of Vitré.
