China News Agency, Nur Sultan, September 9 (Reporter Zhang Shuo) On the 8th local time, the first meeting of the foreign ministers of Afghanistan’s neighbors was held in the form of a video conference.

Many foreign ministers of Central Asia stated at the meeting that they would respect Afghanistan’s sovereign independence and territorial integrity, and look forward to the restoration of peace and development in Afghanistan.

  According to a report from the Press Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the participants believed that a stable, peaceful and prosperous Afghanistan meets the development needs of the country and the international community.

All parties will help Afghanistan achieve security, stability and economic reconstruction, and provide emergency humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan.

  Uzbek Foreign Minister Kamilof said that Uzbekistan will uphold the principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of its neighbors and support Afghanistan in restoring its own economy as soon as possible.

In addition, Kamilov called on the international community to formulate Afghanistan's development strategy to attract the country to join the regional integration process and participate in the implementation of regional infrastructure construction.

  Tajikistan borders Afghanistan, and the complex changes in the domestic situation in Afghanistan have aroused Tajik's concern.

Tajikistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Mukhridin said at the meeting that in the past 20 years, the terrorist forces in Afghanistan have not been eliminated but have been increasing.

In this regard, Mukhridin said that in the face of the complex impact of the regional anti-terrorism situation, Tajikistan will take effective measures to combat terrorism.

In addition, Mukhridin called on the international community to help Afghanistan find a political solution to the current crisis.

  Tajikistan President Rahmon said earlier that Tajikistan regards Afghanistan as a friendly country and supports the restoration of peace in the country as soon as possible.

In order to resolve political and security issues in Afghanistan as quickly as possible, the country must form an inclusive government that accommodates representatives of all ethnic minorities.

  In addition, the participant Turkmenistan positively evaluated the consensus reached by the foreign ministers' meeting.

Hajiyev, First Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, said at the meeting that strengthening cooperation among countries in the region is of great significance. The holding of the meeting provides more opportunities for all parties to peacefully resolve the Afghan issue.
