An investigation has been carried out since last May, after the identification of a man who would have served as an intermediary between consumers and traffickers.

A call center

This drug addict would have thus managed a kind of "call center". He received dozens of requests daily and directed customers to the two points of the deal. The police would have noted a hundred contacts for this single suspect. “He receives a commission on the sales made thanks to the customers he sends, and that allows him to finance his personal consumption. We have about ten transactions per day, in cocaine, recognized by the suspects ”, explains a source close to the investigation to our colleagues.

In addition to arrests, the police, supported by three dog teams, carried out searches which made it possible to get their hands on narcotics.

Dummy weapons and 5,000 euros in cash were also found.

The dealers are said to come from neighborhoods in the city, but the drug suppliers are of Guyanese origin.
