Jamaican Elaine Thompson-Herah again landed a leading 100m in the Diamond League finals in Zurich on Thursday with a victory in 10 sec 65 (+0.6 m / s of wind), 10th in the l 'story.

In the absence of her rival Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, the reigning double Olympic champion again largely dominated her opponents and continued her series of dantesque times on the straight line after 10 sec 61 in Tokyo at the Olympics, 10 sec 54 in Eugene (2nd performance in history) on August 21 and 10 sec 64 in Lausanne on August 26.

Only the world record of the sulphurous American Florence Griffith-Joyner (10 sec 49 in 1988) still resists her.

In the men, the American Olympic vice-champion Fred Kerley assumed his status in the absence of the Italian champion Lamont Marcell Jacobs with a convincing victory in 9 sec 87 (-0.4 m / s of wind).

The Canadian André de Grasse is 2nd in 9 sec 89, the American Ronnie Baker 3rd in 9 sec 91 and his compatriot Trayvon Bromell only 4th in 9 sec 96.
