The action plan is divided into 8 parts: introduction, economic, social and cultural rights, civil and political rights, environmental rights, protection of specific group rights, human rights education and research, participation in global human rights governance, implementation, supervision and evaluation.
The action plan pointed out that since 2009, China has successively formulated and implemented three national human rights action plans. People’s living standards have continued to improve, various rights have been more effectively protected, policies and legal measures for protecting the rights and interests of specific groups have been improved, and the rule of law on human rights has been improved. Guarantees have been further strengthened, and full participation in global human rights governance has made important contributions to the development of the cause of human rights in the world.
According to the action plan, 2021-2025 will be the first China to take advantage of the momentum to embark on a new journey of building a socialist modern country in an all-round way and march toward the second centenary goal after building a moderately prosperous society in all respects and achieving its first centenary goal. Five years.
The goals of developing and implementing an action plan are:
