Surveillance cameras document the shooting of a Saudi citizen at a gas station worker

Yesterday, Wednesday, the Saudi police announced the arrest of a citizen who had fired his pistol at a worker at a gas station in the capital, Riyadh.

The spokesman for the Riyadh police, Major Khaled Al-Kuraides, said that the security authorities in Wadi Al-Dawasir had arrested a citizen in his thirties, after he shot a worker at a gas station due to a dispute between them.

The spokesman explained that the station worker was wounded by a live bullet, stressing that his condition is stable.

The local newspaper, "Okaz", stated that the culprit had taken the initial legal measures against him, and he had been referred to the Public Prosecution Department.

The incident angered many pioneers of social networking sites, and they demanded that the most severe penalties be imposed against the accused, whose identity has not been revealed, or the reasons for the dispute between him and the station worker.
