FSB director called the death of Zinichev a great loss for Russia

“The death of Yevgeny Zinichev is a great loss for Russia.

He devoted his whole life to serving the Fatherland, in all assigned areas of his service he worked professionally and with full dedication of strength and energy, ”TASS quotes him as saying.

As the head of the department emphasized, Zinichev was an example of officer honor, decency and dignity.

“I express my deep condolences to my family and friends,” he added.

Prior to his appointment as head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Zinichev was deputy director of the FSB.

The head of the EMERCOM of Russia died on September 8, saving the famous film director Alexander Melnik.
