Kuwaiti media reported that the Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology, Rana Al-Faris, inspected the new Kuwait airport project to inspect the damage caused by the accident.

While the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information's Twitter account indicated that one of the workers had been found alive, while the other two were being searched for.

The new Kuwait International Airport project (Terminal 2) was designed to be one of the most developed and environmentally friendly airports in the world, and to be a distinctive gateway to Kuwait.

The airport, which is being built by the Turkish company Limak, aims to become one of the first airports in the world to obtain the LEED Gold Certificate for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design in the world.
