An elementary school teacher in the United States is causing controversy by putting tape on the face of a student who forgot to wear a mask.

On the 7th local time, foreign media such as the New York Post reported that a substitute teacher at Redham Elementary School in Clark County, Nevada, was accused of insulting a student.

According to the report, substitute teacher A at this school recently discovered that 4th grade boy group B entered the classroom without a mask after drinking water.

Clark County has made it mandatory for schools to wear masks since July.

Mr. A dragged him to the front of the classroom without telling him to wear a mask.

Next, the mask was taped to Group B's face and tapped on Group B's forehead so that the tape was fixed.

Seeing this, the classmates burst into laughter.

It is known that A has been corporal punishment for other students in the meantime by attaching a mask to the face with tape.

Group B's mother demanded the resignation of Mr. A, saying, "My son came home crying in shame."

He also said, "I am afraid that this will adversely affect my son's social skills in the long term," he said.

The Clark County Department of Education said in a statement that it was "aware of the incident and is handling it through appropriate channels."
