07 September 2021 Chiara Ugolini, the 27-year-old found killed in her apartment, had a rag soaked in bleach (or other corrosive substance) in her mouth, says the Ansa agency citing qualified sources. The girl had a single bleeding from the mouth, compatible with the hypothesis of internal bleeding, but no signs of bruising to the body or head. This would make the hypothesis of a push that would have made her fall to the ground less solid, as said by Emanuele Impellizeri, the 38-year-old neighbor whom the young woman had surprised on the balcony and who is now in prison accused of the crime.

An autopsy was arranged for Wednesday afternoon which will allow clarifying the causes of the death of Chiara Ugolini, who was killed on Sunday in her home in Calmasino di Bardolino (Verona), that is, if she was hit in the head with a blunt instrument during a fight or she fell beating her head as claimed by the alleged murderer Emanuele Impellizzari.

Impellizzeri, who entered Chiara Ugolini's apartment by climbing from the lower floor, after an escape that ended in Florence, is locked up in the Florentine prison of Sollicciano and the Carabinieri would have limited himself to saying that he had pushed the girl.

The carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Verona continue to investigate to discover the motive for the murder. The economic motive, the theft, as well as the one to be traced back to condominium disputes, which would never have occurred, now seems to have been excluded. And so the motive for sexual assault by man seems to be increasingly gaining ground.

When he was stopped, in addition to being stained with blood, Impellizzeri had scratches on his face, evident signs of the struggle. Chiara Ugolini would therefore have defended herself, she would have reacted to the man's aggression. The alleged murderer, who was serving a sentence for two robberies dating back to 2006 with probation to the social services, admitted that he would have found the girl at home when, on Sunday afternoon, he entered the apartment from the terrace. but he did not then clarify the reasons for his gesture.
