The latest statistics released by the General Administration of Customs on the 7th show that from January to August this year, the import and export trade volume between the mainland and Taiwan increased by 31.8% year-on-year, and the import and export trade volume between the mainland and Hong Kong increased by 35.2% year-on-year. .

　　Statistics show that in the first eight months of this year, cross-strait trade volume was US$208.82 billion.

Among them, the mainland imported US$158.5 billion from Taiwan, a year-on-year increase of 31.3%; the mainland exported US$50.32 billion to Taiwan, a year-on-year increase of 33.4%.

　　In a single month, the cross-strait trade volume was 29.51 billion US dollars in August this year.

Among them, the mainland imported 22.85 billion U.S. dollars from Taiwan and exported 6.66 billion U.S. dollars to Taiwan.

　　In terms of trade between the mainland and Hong Kong, in the first eight months of this year, the import and export trade volume between the mainland and Hong Kong was US$220.94 billion.

Among them, the mainland imported US$6.75 billion from Hong Kong, a year-on-year increase of 69.8%; the mainland exported US$214.19 billion to Hong Kong, a year-on-year increase of 34.4%.

　　In a single month, in August this year, the trade volume between the Mainland and Hong Kong was 29.55 billion U.S. dollars.

Among them, the mainland imported US$1.09 billion from Hong Kong and exported US$28.46 billion to Hong Kong.
